How can we help?

Find guidance for using apnia, managing your privacy, resolving common problems, and reporting safety concerns.

Last updated: July 25, 2026

Getting started

  • Complete your profile with a display name, freediving disciplines, bio, avatar, and optional links.
  • Explore the map to discover community-sourced freediving spots, schools, clubs, and hubs.
  • Record personal bests and share training updates with the context that matters to you.
  • Find dive buddies and follow their progress through your feed.

Using the freediving map

Search and filter the map to discover places, or suggest a missing spot, school, club, or hub for review. Listings are community-sourced catalog information and may be incomplete or outdated.

Always verify local access, current conditions, hazards, rules, and supervision with a qualified local source before entering the water. Never use a map listing as a dive plan or safety guarantee.

Profiles, posts, and privacy

Profile visibility and post visibility are separate controls. Review the audience before publishing, especially when sharing a location or other personal information.

For details about how apnia handles information, read the Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines.

Account and data requests

You can request account deletion from the app. If you cannot access your account, use the account deletion guide.

Questions about your data can be sent through the contact page.

Troubleshooting

  1. Check that your device has a working internet connection.
  2. Close and reopen apnia, then retry the action.
  3. Install the latest available version of the app and your device operating system.
  4. If the problem continues, contact us with your device type, app version, and the steps that reproduce it.

Important safety reporting

Child safety concerns

If a report option is available on the relevant content or profile, use it immediately. Include as much context as possible, such as usernames, links, timestamps, and screenshots. Do not download, copy, or redistribute suspected child sexual abuse material.

You can also report an urgent child safety concern to hi@apnia.co with the subject “CSAE Report.” If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.

apnia complies with applicable child-safety laws, reports when legally required, and cooperates with lawful requests related to child sexual abuse and exploitation investigations. Read our Child Safety Standards for more information.
