Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) Standards

Last updated: June 16, 2026

1. Zero tolerance policy

apnia has a zero-tolerance policy for child sexual abuse and exploitation. Any content, behavior, account, or activity that sexually exploits, endangers, or harms minors is prohibited.

2. Prohibited content and conduct

The following are strictly prohibited on apnia:

  • Any child sexual abuse material (CSAM), including real or manipulated media.
  • Sexualization of minors, including grooming, solicitation, or exploitation.
  • Requests for sexual content involving minors, or attempts to contact minors for sexual purposes.
  • Sharing links, instructions, or networks that facilitate CSAE or trafficking of CSAM.
  • Any other behavior that exploits, endangers, or abuses children.

3. Detection and prevention

We use a combination of user reporting, moderation review, and platform safeguards to detect and prevent CSAE risks.

Where appropriate, we may preserve relevant data to support investigations and legal compliance.

4. Reporting process

apnia allows users to report child safety concerns in-app. To learn more about reporting requirements, visit the Help Center.

If you encounter content or behavior that may involve child exploitation, report it immediately by emailing hi@apnia.co with the subject line "CSAE Report".

Please include relevant details (such as usernames, links, timestamps, and screenshots) to help us act quickly.

5. Enforcement actions

Violations of these standards may result in immediate content removal and permanent account termination.

We may report suspected CSAE activity to appropriate authorities or child protection organizations as required by law.

6. Cooperation and compliance

apnia complies with all relevant child safety laws, and reports to regional and national authorities. To learn more about reporting to the relevant authorities, visit the Help Center.

apnia is committed to complying with applicable child safety laws and platform policies, including Google Play's child safety requirements.
